Chance Encounters is a CNN Travel series about how couples met each other. This particular animation features three different couples’ journeys - on a flight across the Atlantic, in the Himalayas, and on a greyhound bus in California.
The idea was to create a sketchbook environment, so we messed around with paper textures, scribbles in bright colours and paper cut-outs. We had a lot of fun intertwining these three different journeys while still keeping them individually distinguished.
