This interactive was based on 3 imagined US railway journeys; New York City to Chicago, San Francisco to Los Angeles, and Atlanta to Orlando. I was tasked to create departure and arrival scenes for each train ride, as well as illustrate what these journeys could look like out the window, which can be seen in the interactive.
These loops were built with shapes and simple gradients in After Effects so we could then export as code and add into the interactive.
